Tae turned 5 and is the sweetest, cutest little 5 year old I know. We kept her birthday pretty simple this year. We had a girl party with 2 of her cousins and did facials, pedicures, nails, and make-up. They were all so funny and sassy. After the party, the rest of my family came over for some cake and ice cream!
For Taelyns actual birthday she woke up with the whole day planned out. She wanted to go to preschool, then do crafts, then go to the park, then dance, then ihop (because they sing to you on your birthday), and end the night by swimming! We checked off everything on her list and had such a fun day!
Taelyn has always been our little sweetheart. On her birthday, one of her friends gave her $5… she was SO excited about her money! After we got done swimming and were on our way home, Matt got pulled over. Here was our following conversation…
Tae: “What is the police man doing?”
Matt: “He’s deciding if he’s gonna give dad a ticket or not.”
Tae: “What does it mean to get a ticket?”
Matt: “Well, dad will either have to pay the money or I go to jail.”
Tae: “Do you have money dad?”
Mom: “Actually, we really don’t, so lets hope he doesn’t give us a ticket?”
Tae: after being quiet for a bit says, “Dad, you can have my birthday money.”
Dad: “I would never take your money from you.”
Tae: “No really dad. I don’t need it as much as you!”
We love Tae like nothin else! She is our angel and helps us to always be better and kinder. She is my sweetheart and I’m so happy she was my first baby 5 years ago!!

Tae is such a sweetheart and I totally have tear eyes from that story of the ticket. Love that girl. Brinn is still talking about how soft her face is. And I think Sav needs to learn a new pose. She is doing the same pose in EVERY picture and I love it!!!
That is so sweet! She really is one of the kindest kids I know. She has great parents who have taught her well. Thanks for the fun party!
