My sweet hubby surprised me for our anniversary with a get away to Bear Lake. We went for 2 nights with no kids and were in heaven. Look how beautiful this place is...
I used to ski a lot growing up and we haven’t been able to do a ton of it since we’ve been married because it costs so dang much. My cute hubby was probably sick of hearing me say how much I wanted to go skiing, so he bought us passes to ski Beaver Mountain while we were there! We had an absolute blast. The weather was amazing and I got to spend the whole day with my love!
Matt never skied much growing up but came a few times with my family when we first got married… he was TERRIBLE! He has gotten so good now and has definitely passed me up. I told him that my dad used to say to me… “if you go a ski trip without falling, then you’re not getting any better!” Sure enough, the next run he went full speed and crashed pretty good. This is him looking back on the mountain wondering how it happened!
Like I said, the weather was beautiful! Only my husband would be the one out there in shorts and a t-shirt though! That’s why I love him!
I am so grateful for the last 7 years and know we have so many good ones ahead too! Couldn’t imagine life any different… it is wonderful!
