- It was once described as "A quaint little cottage that is surrounded by exotic animals and a stream flowing by it... but it's in between the freeway and railroad tracks!"
-Braydn Jones

- What we'll remember/miss...
- Watching our kids grow up in the only house they've ever known... taking their first steps, saying their first words, etc.

- Our first pets... Fish, Ducks, Dogs
- So You Think You Can Dance, Bachelor, Office, & Biggest Loser parties
- Countless weenie roasts in the fire pit

- Sleepovers in the playhouse
- Movie nights in the yard
- People stopping and asking if they can go look at our "zoo"
- Numerous home projects including building the playhouse and pouring new counter tops
- Friends that we made in the ward... it was the first ward in our marriage that we LOVED!
- etc., etc., etc.,
2. What we WON'T miss... (but it all added to the memories!)
- Hearing the mice come out to play the second we would go to sleep
- Installing the swamp cooler every spring

- Skunks surrounding us
- Birds randomly flying into the house
- Pausing the TV and movies every time a train would pass cause it was so loud
- Being stuck at home because a train had stopped and that was the only way out
We have loved raising our family in this little house of ours. We feel blessed to have lived there and had the best time creating memories. As Mike Sorensen stated... "There are a lot of memories in that old pile of bricks!"

I knew you were all moved out, but now that you're making me really think about it, I'm really sad now. That crazy place really kept life interesting for all of us- and then there's your sentimental things that we don't realize. :( Oh well, on to new, different, bigger and better.
Oh, how I am going to miss that place, some things that you forgot to mention were me and you being surrounded by skunks on our junkyard walk, killer bird on the loose, the wonderful smell that would be on the concrete twice a year for animal feedings (probably insignifcant to you, me and you trying to get up the guts to see what was across the road in that wood shed..hoping it wasnt dead bodies. Man, I really am going to miss that place!
So many memories there! I won't miss being terrified to go out to my car at night to go home thinking a killer bird might pounce me! Or a hobo from the trains might kidnap me!! haha Good Times!
I am so glad you are family and that just because you are moving we 'won't' lose touch.
I cant believe it. I know exactly where you lived. Vineyard 2nd ward? or is it now the Springwater 11th? Either way it was my home ward growing up. The Arnetts, Allens, Eddies, Fransens, Morrells and Ofars, still down the street? I wish I would have known you were there! We would have stopped by and say hi! Im so shocked you lived in that house! I love the inside. Anyway where are you moving to now?
