Matt surprised us all with baby ducks one day. Us girls went out shopping and Matt called and said he had a fun surprise when we got home... Well, come to find out, we walked into a house with ducks running around it! He found them for free and couldn't resist. Well, after a few days they were stinking up our house so Matt made a pen for them in the yard. He made it tall enough that they couldn't get out, but didn't think about a bird coming in! He left for a few hours and came home to missing ducks and a falcon in their pen. Needless to say, the ducks were gone! He found some other free ones again a few days later and had his brother pick them up... when he brought them over they were the ugliest things you've ever seen. So we put them in a cage outside and the first time we let them out they were gone... We weren't too sad about it though! Taelyn missed the ducks so we took her down to a park in Salt Lake to see all the ducks. Now our need for a pet is being filled with fish!! Lots of fish!

I can't believe how beautiful your baby is! She is growing so quickly! How fun to see your family is doing so well.
I am dying! I can't believe that happened to your little pet friends. Before I even read the end of your blog post I showed the pic of the ducks in the bathtub with Taelyn, because we always think she is the cutest thing on the planet. How sad!
funny post! which ducks did i see? the first or second batch? they were pretty cute if i remember, so it must've been the first.... great to see you a little while ago, we should game night again.
