Lets just say I don't think we will be eating peanuts at this house for a long time! Yesterday my sister watched the girls and noticed Tae had a huge booger. She went to get it out, but Taelyn sniffed it right up. So last night, Matt noticed the huge booger again. We could tell it was hurting her, but couldn't get it out. Finally we decided to get the tweezers out. Matt went for the booger and about threw up... he threw the tweezers at me and said... "It's a bone not a booger." I told him there was no way that was her bone, so I tried to get it. It was as hard as could be. By this time Taelyn was screaming in tears, so we decided to let it sit over night and see if it was softer by morning. Well it wasn't, but we didn't know how to get it out. Amber came over to our house in the afternoon and we started talking about her booger. Amber looked at it and said it's wierd that it's not booger color anymore. After a lot of begging, we finally talked Amber into pickin the boog. After a lot of tears, the booger finally came out... Except it was a peanut! GROSS, SICK, DISGUSTING! *Thanks Amb

Peanuts Anyone?!

That is soooooooooooooooo sick!! Im just glad I wasnt there. And thanks for at least cleaning it cause I know that was not the real color of it!!
Let me just clarify being the "peanut remover" it really was that color!! It was one of the sickest things I have ever had to do in my nursing career. (and the sadest because my cute little neice was crying) Let's just say Matt and Jess owe me BIG for this one. :) I am just glad I got it out with those dang tweezers!!
That is too bad-not something you want to do again. Kyder swallowed a carpet staple when we were moving into our new house- only he pooped it out. The xrays are pretty cool thought. Glad that you got it out and she is okay.

OH MY GOSH! That's crazy! I was laughing so hard when you were talking about Matt almost throwing up, throwing the tweezers at you, and saying it was a bone. hahaha that is hilarious. I'm glad you finally got it out though, so Tae didn't have to suffer anymore. Hope you guys had fun at the cabin- I wish we could have come!!
Ok... So i know that this is not supposed to be a funny post, but i started laughing the minute i read Matts reaction. That is such a guy thing :)!. I am glad you got it out! How scary! Kids do the craziest things!
