She's Here!!

Savanna Colleen Flake Savanna was born on October 6 and was as healthy as can be! She weighed 7 lbs 8 oz and was 19 inches long. She is beautiful and so far such a good baby! We love our girls SO much! I was induced around 8 am and had her at 1:13 pm... quick and easy compared to Taelyn! They gave me an epidural around 11 that seemed to be working great, but just my luck it wore off about 12:30. I told them I was feeling my contractions, so they up-ed my dose and told me they'd give me something different if I was still feeling them in 10 min. So, at about 12:50, I told them I was still in a lot of pain, so the nurse said she'd check me and then get the anesthesiologist. Well... I was ready and the baby was coming. She told me she'd call the anesthesiologist and the doctor and whoever got there first would relieve me of my pain one way or the other. They showed up at the same time, so I got a dose of something different that would set in about 10 minutes later, and the doctor told me to start pushing. Long story short... I pretty much felt the whole birth and the block set in right after. My legs went completely numb, but not till about 5 minutes after she was born! I was lucky she came so quick and easy. She was out in about 3 pushes, and I am feeling SO good! Our new baby girl! Savanna and I had some girl time that night after all the visitors left and painted our toenails... she was the talk of the nursery! All the nurses loved her and her pink toes! New family of 4 New Big Sister - I've got the cutest girls EVER!! I think Savanna is going to look just like Tae, but a dark version of her! I love it!
