California '08

Just a little piece of heaven!! I was a little nervous about the plane ride with my daughter, but she did so good! She loved being with her cousins and was given treats on demand so that she would stay quiet! The ride home however was a little different... she did really good until we were getting ready to land. We came home during a storm which meant the ride was bumpy as heck! Tae hadn't had a nap, has tubes, and could've possibly had the nausea we were all feeling. I get sick on planes anyway, so you can imagine being pregnant, wresting a 1 year old, and a bumpy ride did not help! The poor people around me got to witness about 15 minutes of a screaming child and a puking pregnant lady! No fun!! Good thing the trip was worth it! (Did I mention that the pilot missed his landing, so we got to go down and back up and back down again while all this was going on!! I was about ready to kill someone!) At the Beach Surfs Up Sea World Cruisin around San Diego We had such a fun trip with my family to San Diego this year. We got to stay in a fun beach house and walked down to the beach whenever we felt like a dip! We did Sea World and a ton of different beaches. It was so much fun and I'm so lucky that our family all gets along so good! We have so much fun together. We were able to get a surf board and try surfing along with some body surfing and boogie boarding... Who could ask for more?!
